The Devil Wears Prada
The Devil Wears Prada centered in NYC, the fashion capital is said to be based on the editor-in-chief of Vogue Anna Wintour. The film shows you the glitz the glam and of course the sacrifices that have to be made if you want to be at the top in the fashion world. As Nigel said, “When your personal life is falling apart, that means it’s time for a promotion.” Miranda Priestly played by the oh-so-talented Meryl Streep, who just received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Globes, is phenomenal and makes you want to be the new ‘Emily’ (kind of). Do we really need to say more, or in the words of Miranda Priestly—‘that is all’.
Confessions of a Shopaholic
I think we can all admit that we have been there once, or twenty times. Buying something that we KNOW we don’t need. It’s that little voice in our head telling us we need it because either it’s on sale or they have it in your size so it’s ‘meant to be’ yea, well Rebecca Bloomwood played by Isla Fisher can relate.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s
What girl hasn’t channeled her inner chic with Audrey Hepburn as their muse?! With the iconic pearls an elegant black dress and men drooling over you. What more can a girl ask for, now just pass me a Croissant.
Do you ever think that there is more to life than being really, really, really, ridiculously good-looking? Yea we didn’t think so. Take a selfie break and ‘Blue Steel’ with Ben Stiller, the hottest male model at the top of the fashion world. If you’re looking for a comedy with the right amount of fashion, then you might want to strut like Derek Zoolander and add this movie to your must watch list.
Coco Before Chanel
