AMCONYC Takes Expanding Roster of Menswear Designers to the Runway for New York Fashion Week: Men’s
NEW YORK – May 4, 2015 – Building on the excitement over the inaugural New York Fashion Week: Men’s, July 13-16, 2015, AMCONYC, the premier events company for established emerging designers, is building a strong roster of designers who seek high quality, effective avenues to showcase their menswear lines for 2016. To that end, AMCONYC will be producing fashion shows and pop-up stores to provide high-end exposure to each designer’s work.
“Men’s Fashion Week is a great new opportunity for menswear designers to draw particular attention to their lines specifically without getting lost amongst the broader emphasis of Fashion Week,” says Adriana Marie, owner of AMCONYC. “We’re putting on some amazing shows for key menswear designers that we think will bring tremendous exposure to their lines and attract a broad spectrum of media and industry buzz for them. It’s as exciting for us as it is for them.”
AMCONYC has secured 5,000 square feet of event space at 101 Wooster St. in the heart of New York’s trendy SoHo, and will stage three fashion shows each day on July 13, 14, and 15 featuring collections from nine different menswear designers.
In addition, AMCONYC has partnered with John Allan’s Men’s Grooming Salon, the standard-bearer in men’s grooming since 1988 with locations in NYC, Toronto, Beverly Hills (in Saks Fifth Avenue) and San Francisco (in John Varvatos).
